When I was younger, I liked making the 'mud pie potions', baking the cookies, playing the instruments, using nature to make art and more. As I grew creatively, I travelled down many creative avenues. From epoxy-coated food jewellery to general crafting and ultimately finding my love of painting.

I was 29 and pregnant with my first child. After viewing Donna Dewberry's demo on The Shopping Channel, I was hooked. I purchased the kit and taught myself the One Stroke technique. I mastered it and painted on every surface to make sure I was confident in my skills. Fast forward 12 years later to when I started instructing paint parties at a local B&B. Now 13 years later, I have instructed over 165 paint parties!

THIS was the key to me needing to be social and creative at the same time!
